Bethel Youth Group (BYG) offers students, from 7th – 12th grade, a safe place to experience, and share the hope found in Jesus. We walk beside teenagers as they navigate life and discover what it means to be a Christ-follower. Through games, Bible lessons, and small group time we engage with their lives and challenge them to be servants of Jesus to those around them.
When We Meet:
BYG Midweek – Wednesdays 7-8:30pm
Join us for a fun-filled night of games, music, Bible lesson, and small groups. We play fun, competitive games in the gym, before transitioning upstairs to the 3rd floor for announcements, singing, and a time of teaching. Each week, following the lesson, we break into grade/gender specific small groups for a time of sharing and deeper discussion of the nights lesson.
BYG Deeper – Sundays 6-7:30pm
Join us for a relaxed, hang out night of discussion. A typical Sunday night consists of drinking coffee while sitting around talking about life and current themes, examining the Bible to see what it teaches on similar subjects. This is a great time to ask questions you might have in your own faith journey or as you study the Bible on your own.
Events & Retreats:
BYG regularly holds events once a month either on campus or off. Please see our semester calendar for more information. More information is provided to the teens as we get closer to each event.
BYG attends three retreats annually. Some are held locally and others are out of state.
