Mothers Of Preschoolers – MOPS

Sometimes being a mother of little kids can make you feel all alone. Like you’ve forgotten the part of you that doesn’t have a diaper and wipes case within arms’ reach at all moments. Getting together with other moms can help you feel like a person again. At MOPs, we enjoy a hot breakfast, take time to talk with each other, make a craft, and hear speakers who encourage us in many areas of motherhood. MOPs is a place where moms support moms — where we remember who we are as mothers, as wives, as women before God.

MOPS is held at Bethel Church from September through May each year.

Laundry on Linden

Every Tuesday a group from Bethel goes to a laundry mat in Allentown to assist the homeless and misfortunate with their laundry. This is a partnership with other churches, who provide meals as well. During this time volunteers are able to have spritiual conversations with the people as they feed quarters and detergent into the washers.
